I bought Letterex Complete but it's locked again
Open Settings inside the game and tap Restore Purchases. This re-checks your purchase with the App Store or Google Play — it works across reinstalls and new devices signed into the same store account.
Is a word missing from the dictionary?
Letterex uses the ENABLE word list (172,000+ words, no proper nouns, hyphens, or contractions), filtered to 3–10 letters. If a word you love is missing — or one you think shouldn't count got through — email us the word and we'll review it.
Does the game work offline?
Completely. Nothing in Letterex needs the internet. The Daily Duel picks its word and difficulty by the date on your device, so it works offline too.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet — Google Play is coming soon, with no date to announce. In the meantime the complete game plays free in any browser, Android included, at letterex.app/play.
When does the Daily Duel reset?
At midnight, by the date on your device. Everyone in the world gets the same word and difficulty for that date, so scores are comparable across time zones once the day has ticked over for both of you.
Why was my word rejected?
Three rules: the result must be a real dictionary word (3–10 letters, no proper nouns), a move is either one letter added to an end or one dial spun in place, and no word can repeat within the same duel. If it passes all three and still bounced, email us the word.
What exactly does Letterex Complete unlock?
The Locksmith at Journeyman and Mastermind strength, three hints every duel instead of one, every door in Your Stats (the lifetime ledger, chain relics and letter count), and the Duel Archive, which lets you replay any past Daily Duel. One purchase, forever; the browser version already has all of it.
Do my stats carry to another device?
No. Letterex has no accounts and collects nothing, so your record lives only on the device you played on. Deleting the app (or clearing site data in the browser) removes it, and there is nothing on our side to restore it from. The purchase itself is different — it lives with your store account, so Restore Purchases brings it back on any device signed into the same account.
Is Letterex Jr free?
Yes, completely: nothing to buy and nothing collected. It plays free in the browser at letterex.app/jr/play and is on the App Store as its own app.
