Letterex is a two-player word duel on a brass cryptex: take turns growing a word by a letter or spinning one dial to a new letter — every result must be a real word. Play pass-and-play on one phone, battle The Locksmith AI, or take on the shareable Daily Duel.

Long (~500 chars):

Letterex turns spelling into a duel on a brass cryptex. Starting from a 3-letter word, players take turns reshaping it — grow it by a letter at either end, or spin one dial to a new letter — and every result must be a real word, with no repeats. Corner your rival and the chain seals in your favor — first to 100 points takes the match. Duel a friend on one phone, face The Locksmith AI across three difficulties, play the shareable Daily Duel, or keep one unbroken chain alive in Zen Mode. Free to play, $1.99 once for everything, and it works entirely offline.

Letterex Jr — the companion for young kids

A separate, free companion app for young readers, built on the same word engine: bright painted wooden blocks, a friendly mouse named Pip, unlimited hints, and no way to lose. No in-app purchases of any kind, and nothing collected. Its own page: letterex.app/jr, and the complete game plays free in the browser at letterex.app/jr/play. It has its own listing in the App Store's Kids Category — the "Ages 6–8" band, age rating 4+ — available now; Google Play coming soon.
